Wyke Farms
A Heritage as Rich As our Cheddar
We've been family farming in the heart of Somerset for over 150 years. And making award-winning cheddar to our Grandmother Ivy's secret recipe for generations.
A few things have changed since Ivy made her first blocks of cheddar. But our family is still as passionate about providing your family with delicious, traditional Farmhouse Cheddar.
Living in the heart of Somerset is a privilege. One we’ll never take for granted. We understand this beautiful region gives us so much. So we do everything we can to take care of it. Our goal is to create a sustainable working farm, harnessing our natural resources to source our electricity and gas from both solar and biogas, generated from farm and dairy waste.
It’s something our ancestors would be proud of – as well as our children.
We’re a progressive business that doesn’t stand still. We’ll continue to challenge ourselves to find more sustainable ways to operate to enable us to farm the Brue Valley for generations to come.

Glorious Game
Glorious Game aims to help increase the appeal of this hugely underappreciated but delicious, lean and nutritious meat. Inspired by her upbringing in the Angus Glens, and her Grandmother, who was a wonderful cook, Sophie has always been obsessed with food but is only too aware that not everyone shares her passion for game, which is often over-looked, or disliked for no good reason.
