The Traditional Farmfresh Turkey Association - Golden Turkeys
TFTA accredited family farmers use a traditional and artisan approach to produce the very finest quality free-range Christmas turkeys. The TFTA's Golden Turkey Quality Assurance code sets the highest standard, providing trust and confidence when it comes to the most important meal of the year.
Formed in 1984 by like-minded farmers who are passionate about producing the ultimate in Christmas turkeys in terms of eating quality, welfare standards and environmental responsibility. The Golden Turkey Quality Assurance Guarantee mark represents an accreditation which is only applied to birds meeting all aspects of our code of quality.
Golden Turkeys® are produced solely on selected farms and naturally reared on a quality cereal based diet. Our turkeys are grown to full maturity, free-ranging on farmland and to highest welfare standards, dry plucked and dry aged for at least 7 days to mature, according to tradition, for a fuller flavour and succulent meat.
These special Golden Turkeys won’t be found in supermarkets. The TFTA farmers offer their Golden Turkeys at the farm gate, farm shops, quality butchers and online.

Glorious Game aims to help increase the appeal of this hugely underappreciated but delicious, lean and nutritious meat. Inspired by her upbringing in the Angus Glens, and her Grandmother, who was a wonderful cook, Sophie has always been obsessed with food but is only too aware that not everyone shares her passion for game, which is often over-looked, or disliked for no good reason.
