Sausage Casserole with Baked Beans
Makes 8 portions
Ingredients
- 16 Thin sausages
- 115g (4oz) Onions
- 1 tablespoon Olive oil
- 2 x 400g cans Baked beans
Method
- Preheat the oven to 200C/400F/Gas 6.
- Peel and dice the onions fry in a little olive oil until soft but not brown.
- Cut the sausages into 2.5cm (1in) pieces.
- Put the sausage pieces on a lightly oiled baking tray, and bake in the preheated oven for 5–10 minutes until just starting to change colour.
- Add the baked beans to the sausages put into deep tins cover with a lid.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 40–45 minutes.
Serve with mash or jacket potato.
