Cow Close Farm

Sophie and James Summerlin are a husband and wife team who hand make artisan cheeses from their farm. Cow Close Farm is set in an idyllic location beneath Stanage Edge in the Peak District village of Hathersage.

They have always had a passion for cheese; it has always been an ambition of theirs to produce their own artisan cheeses, and in January 2013 they embarked on the journey towards this. Three years, and lots of hard work later, their first handmade artisan soft cheese hit the market in April 2016. They proudly produce all of their artisan soft cheeses by hand, from milk sourced from a single herd of local cows. Cheeses are available to order on website and be delivered."
