William Scholey 

I am a 26 year old arable farmer covering North, West and South Yorkshire. At C W Scholey Ltd we produce commodities for both human consumption and also animal feeds. I have grown up with an interest in farming, always having the main vision and desire to farm quality British produce to feed the nation. 

An imperative part of production is ensuring that there are both environmental and economic benefits, which is why as a farming enterprise we have got involved with schemes such as the Sustainable Farming Incentive pilot scheme which allows us to provide a more environmentally friendly commodity with a reduced negative economic implication – this is especially important with the growing concerns and scrutiny placed upon agriculture and its effects on the environment.
