Welsh Food Box
The Welsh Food Box Company is a new home delivery service, bringing the best local produce direct to households in South Wales. It was set up by Chris Rees, a local Vale of Glamorgan resident who found that buying, local, high quality farm produce was not always an easy thing to do. It meant spending precious time on weekends travelling to farmers markets and farm shops, only to find that, often, the best produce had sold out. So the idea of an on line farmers market took shape and the Welsh Food Box Company was born.
The Company aims to ensure that people have access to the brilliant range of food that is produced locally, with the convenience of shopping on line to get a fresh food delivery. Its ethos is to make buying local and fresh a convenient and practical reality.
