Yes please, more peas! Britain's unique East facing seaboard is ideally suited to pea production making us the largest producer of peas for freezing in Europe. But nothing beats fresh peas in the summer so as well as enjoying them mushy with your fish and chips now is the time to savour them fresh and oh so sweet. Shelling peas and lazy summer days go together like a horse and carriage. And you can make soup with the empty pods.
